The capital real estate portal 100realty.ua found out who buys multi-room apartments in Kiev most often, what is the offer and prices in this segment of housing.

In Kiev, multi-room apartments and apartments are often bought by families with children and those who like to live in spacious apartments in premium houses.
“In recent years, the demand for apartments in new houses has grown, due to the convenient layout and characteristics of the house itself. Developers offer apartments with functional layouts, comfortable living rooms, spacious kitchens, terraces, multi-level apartments and apartments with fireplaces. Especially popular are houses near parks, squares, not far from the promenade or in the historical and business center of Kiev, ”says Elena Biberova, Director General of Blagovest AN.

She also claims that there is a special demand for apartments with a large area in houses of early construction (architectural monuments, royal houses, “stalinkas”), which are unique in their way and thereby emphasize the status of their owners.

“In the real estate market of Kiev, multi-room apartments account for about 15% of the total supply. This amount is enough today to satisfy solvent demand, ”says Elena Biberova.

Prices are lower than compact housing
Since the budget for the purchase of a large multi-room apartment is large, sellers set a more affordable price than owners of small apartments. This applies to all classes of real estate.
