How will Ukrbud’s facilities be completed: what complexes will be commissioned first and for what money they will be completed

It became known how and for what money Ukrbud’s facilities will be completed. This was discussed at a joint press conference of the president of the holding company “Kievgorstroy” Igor Kushnir and general director of the company “Ukrbud development” Oleg Mayboroda.

Last week, the situation around the Ukrbud facilities was commented by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. According to him, the completion will be carried out by Kyivgorstroy. Later, the holding confirmed its participation in the completion.

How will Ukrbud’s facilities be completed: where will the money come from and which LCDs will be handed over in the first place
Details became known on Monday, December 16 at a press conference.

Where will the completion money come from? Kievgorstroy does not plan to spend the money of its own investors on the completion of the Ukrbud facilities. The company intends to attract loans against state guarantees. “Kievgorstroy has retained earnings for 10 years, but we will contact the Kyiv City State Administration and government agencies. But the funds are not budgetary, but commercial under state guarantees, ”said Igor Kushnir.
Where did the money of Ukrbud investors go? According to the participants of the press conference, part of the company’s assets disappeared, but the investments of Ukrbud investors (home buyers) were saved. The money will be transferred to Kyivgorstroy for the completion of the residential complex begun by Ukrbud.
Were there double sales of apartments in the facilities of Ukrbud? One of the most painful issues was the suspicion of possible double sales of apartments in the residential complex, which was built by Ukrbud. At a press conference, it was stated that an audit had been carried out, which confirmed that there were no double sales.
When will objects with a high degree of readiness be completed? Kyivgorstroy will conduct acceptance of Ukrbud facilities within six months. Commissioning is delayed from 12 to 18 months. LCD projects will not change.
Which LCDs will be completed and commissioned in the first place? Of the 21 unfinished facilities of Ukrbuda, the first to be commissioned are: LCD Kievskaya Riviera, LCD Kharkovsky, LCD Pektoral, LCD Novomostitsky. The commissioning of the Kiev Riviera is expected in January 2020.
How is construction the most problematic? According to the participants of the press conference, the biggest difficulties are around the Charivne Misto residential complex in the Darnitsky district of Kiev. Unfortunately, his delivery is postponed for a long period.

Recall that as of December 2019, the Ukrbud Corporation was under construction 21 projects, 28 projects had previously been commissioned. Most of them are housing.
