What will change on 1 October in Ukraine: new money, IBAN code and the harsh rules for granting subsidies

From 1 October in Ukraine will a number of changes that will affect the financial markets, tax, utilities. What will change from October 1 in Ukraine, the portal of capital real estate 100realty.ua found out.
A large number of changes are associated with innovations in the financial sector. The National Bank cancels the circulation of part of the coins, and also introduces a new standard of accounts in banking institutions. Ministry of Social Policy intends to tighten the rules on calculation of subsidies for housing and communal services. The new rules for calculating subsidies from October 1 almost coincide with the beginning of the heating season.
What will change from October 1 in Ukraine

From October 2019 will start to operate international bank account numbers – IBAN. In this regard, the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine said that new accounts are being introduced to pay taxes and fees to state and local budgets. The IBAN standard is 29 alphanumeric characters for the account. This preserves the length of the analytical account number, which is not more than 14 digits.

From October 1, taken out of circulation 3 types of coins
On October 1, 2019 the National Bank of Ukraine begins to withdraw from circulation coins in denominations of 1, 2 and 5 cents. For ease of settlement, the NBU decree allows banks to round off payments.
During the year, coins of 1, 2 and 5 kopecks can be exchanged at any bank in Ukraine, and from October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2022 – only at authorized banks Oschadbank, PrivatBank, Raiffeisenbank Aval.
It is also expected that a new coin of 5 hryvnia will appear in Ukraine. Earlier, the NBU has already announced and issued a banknote of 1000 hryvnia. On the new banknote depicts a scientist Vladimir Vernadsky.
Starting October 1, the rules for calculating subsidies are being tightened
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine announced the updated rules for the calculation of subsidies, which will enter into force on October 1, 2019.
Grounds for refusal of payment of subsidies:
a heated housing floor area exceeding 120 sq. m for apartments in an apartment building, 200 sq. m. m for individual houses. The rule does not apply to family-type orphanages, foster families, large families, families with 3 or more children.
someone from the family members owns a vehicle, subject to state registration, and whose release date has been less than 5 years. This does not apply to mopeds and vehicles received free of charge or purchased on preferential terms with the help of the Labor and Social Welfare Departments;
as part of the family there is a person under 18 years of age at the beginning of the period for which the incomes for the purpose of housing subsidies, and at the same time according to the SOT, PFC have no income at all are taken into account in the appointment of housing subsidies; or the aggregate gross average income is less than the size of MW installed at the beginning of the period for which the incomes for the purpose of housing allowance; and / or they or for them did not pay ERUs in an amount not less than the minimum, for a total of 3 months in the period for which income for the purpose of a housing subsidy is taken into account;
during the last 12 months, one of the family members acquired or obtained by other legal means the ownership of the land, apartment (house), vehicle, building materials, other durable goods or paid for (one-time) any services (except medical, educational and housing and communal services) according to the social norm of housing in the amount that the payment date is more than 50 thousand. UAH .;
in the presence of debts for housing and communal services, overdue for more than 1 month and which exceed 20 tax-free minimum incomes (as of October 1, 2019 this is 540 UAH),
the citizen did not return the excessively transferred (paid) amount of the housing subsidy for previous periods or does not pay the amount to be returned;
as part of the family have to pay alimony debtors and do not pay them for more than 3 months (except for persons who alcoholates or drug addicts, as evidenced by a certificate from a doctor, persons to whom the measures are taken to ensure the criminal proceedings in the form of suspension from work (office), persons to which preventive measures are applied in the form of house arrest or detention).
